Accessibility/DDA
This site is designed and built to be accessible and is WAI AAA (or Priority 3) compliant. Audio screen reader users can use special ‘skip’ navigation and ‘jump to main content’ links. The site is laid out using style sheets which conform to the Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB) See it Right standards. Users can change the style sheets in their browsers to make viewing easier for their individual requirements. The pages are also designed to function without the support of JavaScript and be read hierarchically in text browsers.

On a Windows OS hold down Alt + the specified letter — then release the keys and then press Enter or Return. Macintosh users use Command + the specified letter — then release the keys and then press Enter or Return. The Access key functionality used on this site is as follows:
- M:
- Jump straight to the main page content
- N:
- Jump straight to the secondary navigation

Hidden text assists some visitors with additional information while navigation and breadcrumb trails use HTML Definition lists for extra clarity. The site is built using correctly structured semantic mark-up, including the use of: headers, blockquote, abbr, acronym, kbd, cite and the lang attribute is declared where alternative languages are used.
This website also uses modern AJAX technology responsibly (HIJAX).
